Word Search: rules and examples
Open Word Search, check the instructions and begin a round. Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

The goal to keep in mind
Find every listed word in a 10×10 grid. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. The example below illustrates a decision.
From the start of a round
- Select the first and last letter of a straight word.
- Words can run horizontally, vertically or diagonally, in either direction.
- Find all eight targets.
- New puzzle shuffles again.

Selecting the endpoints in reverse order also finds the same word. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Keep the game’s format in mind.
